Alyssa began her creative career at age seven, assisting her mom with photoshoots in exchange for scoops of ice cream. Throughout childhood and college she explored many corners of artistic expression, developing as a painter and a creator of environments. For seven years she worked with Anthropologie and BHLDN developing display concepts for their store design. During her time in NYC she did art direction and prop styling for various editorial and lifestyle brands. Since relocating to Portland, OR she has been focusing on Interior Design and Styling.
Alyssa is also the founder of Hoppe Shoppe, a curated shopping experience for thoughtful home goods and the stories they tell. We mix vintage wares, well-designed staples, and one of a kind objects to narrate visual memoirs, and support our collections with photo journals and ingredient lists that uncover how each styled environment comes together. Combining inspiration and sourcing, Hoppe Shoppe focuses on ethically and sustainably produced items from independent artisans around the world.
